Parts needed: | |
You can use the Rear Brake parts from ANY 90-97 Accord that has rear discs. Including v6, they are the same too. You need the calipers assemblies, parking brake lines, discs and pads, pad retainers, knuckle and you should buy NEW soft lines. The trailing arms are the same. The UCA appeared to be the same too. |

Lets do it: | |
Just unbolt everything and take it off. You will have to undo the parking brake cables from the handle inside the car, and lower or remove some of the exhaust piping and/or muffler to get the cables out from underneath. Run the new cables the same way, they bolt in exactly the way the old ones came out. | ![]() |
The new knuckle/caliper/disc assembly should bolt right up to the shock and rear trailing arm. You can use all nuts and bolts that were originally on the drum set-up. | ![]() Rear discs happy in new home |
You may have to loosen some of the bolts holding the rear trailing arm onto the chasis to make the knuckle and bushings line up so the bolts could go through. You can tell how cars wear and age differently when you start swapping parts with bushings. |
You will need to use the new fluid line bracket when installing the knuckle. The new softlines will fit right into the old hardlines. |
